Returning to primary colours and forms meant a reduction to the rudimentary and the beginning of a new development.
The resulting brooches in aluminium and polysynthetic resin were made in limited series. Incorporating the element of perspective gives the geometrical forms a three-dimensional quality.
To see them switch from negative to positive and vice versa makes them appear to fly. For the observer, it is irritating for reality to become negotiable.
Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of all this is our inability to see both options simultaneously.
